O sistema educacional da alemanha foi reprovado pela ONU, que enviara, em 2006, seu especialista Vernor Muñoz Villalobos (que é da Costa Rica) para avaliar as escolas aqui. Foram consideradas por Villalobos atrasadas e discriminadoras.
